Abstract

The progresses in formulations and insensitive ways for solid propellants at home and abroad were reviewed including insensitive binder, insensitive plasticizer, insensitive high energetic substance and new composite material, etc. The results show that the sensitivity of propellant can be decreased by using HTPE binder, BDNPF/A plasticizer, FOX-7 high energetic substance and HMX/TATB core shell microparticles, ect. The important research aspects for insensitive propellants are proposed, which will be the study of insensitive mechanism for propellant, relationship between energy and sensitivity of propellant, well-matched composite insensitive substances, the effects of various factors on the sensitivity of the propellant, etc. Appending 66 references.
