The relationship among debonding clearance, length and freezing temperature of liner and propellant grain in casting solid motor under low temperature is analyzed by using finite element method and visco-elastic theory. The feasibility of low temperature inspection for solid motor’s interfacial debonding is demonstrated theroetically by analyzing the simulation results. Comparing the tested motor’s computed tomography(CT)images before and after freezing, it is proofed that the method of low temperature inspection for solid motor’s interface debonding can partially detect the debonding that can not be detected before freezing.
