Aiming at the recoil resistance control problem of truck-mounted artillery, the dynamics of two-dimension recoil system was studied. By analyzing the recoil motion process, kinematic differential equations of two-dimension system were established. Considering the firing condition, the force analysis was carried out. The dynamic model for the two-dimension recoil system of the truck-mounted artillery was established, and the simulation was conducted. Results show that the recoil resistance was reduced obviously by the two-dimension recoil system.
