The finite element method(FEM) was used to analyze structural integrality of solid fuel ramjet(SFRJ) extended range projectile and its components in chamber. The three dimension FEM models of SFRJ extended range projectile and its components were established. The stress and strain distributions of all the components affected by axial inertial force, radial inertial force and tangential inertial force together, were investigated. Results show that the stress around bearings of central cone and port cover concentrate severely, and these components during the elementary design period should be considered greatly. Increasing the thickness and the width of bearings is propitious to the decrease of the maximum stress of bearings. The stress and strain of the other components satisfy the requirement of intensity. The study offers reference for the structure design of SFRJ extended range projectile.
