Abstract
Based on the range model of bistatic airborne sonar searching for submarines, the range error model and error coefficient model for Distatic airborne sonar searching for submarines were established to confirm the factors (such as underwater sound speed, direct-wave time, reflect-wave time, azimuth angle etc. ) which have influence on distance precision. According to the mathematical models, simulations were made to analyse the eccentricity and azimuth angles, influence on each error coefficient and the searched submarinesJ distance relative mean square error. The simulation results show that this method can get satis?factory effect. This paper provides a gist for further research on bistatic airborne sonar searching of sub?marines.
