Abstract

In this paper, the application of phase spectrum time delay estimation (PSTDE) in helicopter passive acoustic orientation is presented, and an approach for improving the accuracy of PSTDE is pro?posed .Computer simulation with the helicopter noise under various conditions is also included . The given approach is tested to be effective and the simulation results show that it has better estimation accuracy and robustness ? It is concluded that the approach has its value and perspective in its engineering applications.
