Abstract

High-power microwave ( HPM) is one among the ,new power-beam weapons and much progress has been made in many countries lately. In this paper, ex?periments on minesweeping applying high-power microwave are reported, and numerical simulations of the curent induced within a mine igniter by HPM are carried out using fi?nite difference-time domain method. The mechanism of minesweeping applying HMP is investigated.
