Abstract

A method for the determination of the explosion characteristics of combustible gases (vapors) is studied. The explosive concentrations and the minimum ignition energies of some combustible gases (vapors) are given. These data fill up a blank in current domestic need in this area and are in good consistence with relevant values available in literatures. Some features of combustible vapor explosion deductable in this study should offer a useful basis for the prevention and protection of explosion hazards.
